Are paid workout plans better than free workout plans?
A reader asks…
I found that I didn’t get any help from free workout plans from the community center gyms. If I paid someone at a private gym to help me, is it better?

Before you pay for anything, why not take a look at the LIVE daily workouts in the right menu on this site? If you have a computer and an internet connection, you’ve got yourself a free personal trainer. Go through a couple of the workouts and you’ll see their conducted by professional fitness experts. These are not cheesy YouTube videos. It’s the only live streaming workout show online.
well i dont know how a free work out plan works but i would no human interaction with a trainer. a paid one they will see you work out with you come up with some kind of work out plan, till you stop paying them. so from the sound of it a paid work out plan but there are many many fourms out there that have good work out plans for everyone, so do some searching you can find a good plan for you. or talk to your doc. that’s why you pay him/her to help you stay healthy and he/she will tell you to see a nutritionist
If you sign up to join a gym of some kind, they will have trainers there for you. They should set up a workout plan for you and this should be written out so you can keep it.
If you sign up at a YMCA sometimes you can get quite a few training sessions without paying so you can get the hang of it. This should also be written out so you can understand it. When you are finally doing the workout on your own and you have questions, don’t be afraid to ask for help.
