Building Muscle in Your Forearms
A reader asks…
Hello, I was wondering how I would begin to build muscle mass in my forearms. I’m a skinny guy and I would like to get more muscular. Also how would I build my pecs and what is the best way to define my abs? (Preferably things that don’t require a gym membership, cash is kinda tight right now.)
Thanks a bunch.

In order to build muscle, you’ll need to do exercises with resistance. Sure, you could use your body weight, but as you grow strong, your workouts would become too easy. The muscles need to stay challenge. That means you’ll need to increase resistance from time to time.
The first thing that comes to mind is a weight set. The one shown below is a 110 lb set with barbell and dumbbell handles. Weights build muscle, but you can only lift them with your arms. That means the rest of your body won’t get a workout. You also have to have the room for them.
I suggest getting a set of resistance bands like the ones shown below. Sets are available from 88 up to 388 lbs of tension. They come with attachments so you can workout your entire body.
