<p>Okay I recently had a baby, (3 months now) and I&#8217;m down to my pre-baby weight, but I was thick, to say the least, beforehand. I KNOW that there are pills that work, I have friends and family who&#8217;ve taken Alli, Stackers and some others. I know that diet and exercise are essential, so if you&#8217;re going to say &#8220;No pills work, just eat healthy and exercise&#8221; then please don&#8217;t waste my time and reply. Before pregnancy I could lose 5 lbs a week at the gym, but now I don&#8217;t have the time or money. I also have physical problems that limit me from doing strenuous exercising. HELP?!?!?</p>

<p>You don&#8217;t have to go to the gym to exercise and you don&#8217;t need to do fast paced jumping around cardio or any exercises that&#8217;s hard on the joints. Besides, cardio is one of the WORST ways to lose weight. I have six weeks to lose hopefully 15 to 20 pounds. Please answers besides &#8220;Eat right and exercise.&#8221; How should I go about this? I have started walking for about thirty minutes a day and have been cutting back on food. Will this do it for me? I&#8217;ve read several places that walking is some of the best exercise possible. I walk pretty briskly and up hills.</p>
<p><strong>Answer:</strong></p>
<p>The walking is a real good start. When I walk 1-2 miles a day and eat better, I lose about 2 lbs a week. However, getting on the scale to see how much weight you&#8217;ve lost is not a good method to check your progress. Measuring yourself is better. You&#8217;ll know you&#8217;re losing fat when your clothes start fitting better.</p>
<p>To boost your fat lose, you&#8217;ll need to do some resistance training. As you build up some muscle, it will start to burn away the fat. A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat and that&#8217;s why I said using the scale is not the ideal way to check your progress. However, a pound of muscle takes up less volume that a pound of fat so even if you weigh the same, you&#8217;ll actually be skinnier because of that volume thing.</p>

<p>See my problem is I would like to go to the gym but memberships cost too much so I am wondering what type of exercises I can do to lose a majority of the weight that is in my breasts, stomach and thigh areas. My breasts are 40 J Cup, my stomach is still what I have from two pregnancies and my thighs are the same.</p>

<p>So far every treadmill that my family owns keep breaking. Even the elliptical broke but I am not sure it broke because of our weight or if it is because my brother keeps tempering with it.<br />
I think the equipment is overused. Does it have any exercise equipment that could handle the pressure of four people working out on it?</p>
