Most of my self-consciousness and lack of confidence comes from my body, and I really want to get in better shape to help myself mentally.
I only have a 15 pound free weight, a large backyard, my room, and a bike.
I’m 16, about 5’5 and 120 pounds. I’m really skinny and wanted to put muscle on. I wanted to get some bigger arms, get rid of my chicken legs, and get a six-pack.
I try to do about 70-100 Bicep Curls, 40 Push-ups, 40 Sit-ups a day. All I’m working is my Arms/Shoulders/Chest at the moment, because I recently got a job at a liquor store and I have to stock heavy things like kegs, cases, and huge bottles. I think my exercise is a bit weak and I was wondering if I should increase it, but at the same time I get tired easily because of my Asthma.
I was going to start running in the backyard, or buying something to attach to my bike to ride indoor to work my legs.
Also, I have a fast metabolism. How much calories should I be eating? Are there any safe and tasty supplements I can eat/drink/take? Supplement Pills/Vitamins?
You need to eat some more protein. Get some inexpensive whey protein powder. Make sure the first ingredient is whey protein or preferably, whey protein isolate. Must be low in carbs. Don’t buy expensive brands that contain added fillers. Right after you get out of bed, mix a scoop with a glass of non-fat milk and drink it.
