How can I build bigger leg muscles without going to the gym?

Squats and lunges don’t make my legs sore anymore. When i first started doing them along time ago, they got more toned. But i want them BIGGER. Anyway i can do this without going to the gym? Please help, thanks.

    They sprint with a lot of change of direction.

    The best activity is stair climbing and even better is hiking up rugged terrain which involves change of direction and moving your body weight against a high incline.
