How can I exercise without the gym?
A reader asks…
I used to go to a gym but my membership expired. It became too expensive to keep going so I was wondering what I can do at home to stay in shape? I don’t have room to put in a bench or anything. The gym was good for me because I was always sitting behind the desk and now that I haven’t gone for like 4 months, my stomach has gotten visibly bigger.

You don’t need weights and you don’t need to go to the gym. Get yourself a set of Bodylastics resistance bands and then click here to join the rest of the members for free workouts. Building new muscle is the best thing you can do to burn off fat.
I’d also like to recommend the Fat Burning Furnace. I can’t say enough good things about it. It will tell you exactly how to make that fat melt away. And you’ll be able to use the resistance bands instead of the gym equipment the download recommends because the bands can replicate gym equipment exercises.
Don’t forget to eat healthier because you can’t out exercise a bad diet.
Running and walking is great. Start out slow (run 1 minute walk 2, repeat 10 times) if you have not done cardio in awhile. I’ve done this, and in the past 8 weeks have lost 14 lbs (though I’ve been eating less and more healthy as well.
Add to this things like push ups, and ab exercises, lunges, etc and the gym really is no longer necessary.
