How can I get 6 pack abs at home?
Question:
I’m 5’9 and I weigh about 130ish. My friend says I shouldn’t worry about dieting and to just focus on ab workouts… I’m pretty sure he’s wrong about that. I’ve always heard “6 pack abs are 95% diet and 5% exercises”… If I do need to diet, let me know and give me tips on what to eat!… also, list what ab workouts work the best and how much cardio to do!
Answer:
You don’t need to “diet”, but you need to include fresh fruits, vegetables and lean protein IN your diet.
All the sit-ups in the world won’t make that 6-pack show if you have a layer of fat hiding them. Also, working out just your abs to get 6-pack abs is the wrong way to approach it. Did you know that having lots of lean muscle on your frame is your body’s natural fat burning furnace? So it makes sense to also exercise your legs as they contain the largest muscles in the body. The more muscle you have, the more calories you’ll burn.
But, you need to do the right kinds of workouts. A combination of cardio and resistance training. You don’t have to go to the gym. You can do it right at home with a set of Bodylastics resistance bands. You’ll be able to do complete body workouts with them. So what kinds of workouts can you do with them?
