How can I get a toned, sexy body without going to a gym?

A reader asks…

Okay, I’m 15 y.o. girl and I’ve got a lot of extra baggage that I really don’t want torturing me for the rest of my high school career… What exercises can I do to get a toned, sexy body with out going to the gym and not taking a crazy diet pill that probably won’t work… I also need something that will fit into my tight schedule… Any ideas???

    You can do some toning and strengthening exercises and even Pilates. You probably don’t want to go out and spend money on DVD workouts, but that’s ok. You can get workouts like that for free right here. Free Workouts for Women.

    They’ve also got some free workouts for teens that you might be interested in.

    I’m 14.. and im no fitness expert but when i was ten to twelve years old i was really self conscious about me being over weight. So I finally got tired of it and decided to do something about it. So my brother helped me out. ( I found it easier to do this with him because we’re very close)
    I was about 25-30 pounds overweight and so Me and my brother (who is in great shape, and used to be a swimmer) Would run up and down our road for about half and hour to an hour about every other day or so.
    And every night i would do crunches before I went to bed. I started off with 25 and added 5 more every other week. I stayed on an easy diet .. not too strict .. I still had a few sweets like ice cream and chocolate, haha .. but not nearly as often as i used to. Drank Lots and LOTS of water .. about 5 bottles a day. Drank lots of low Sugar low calorie juice and ate smaller meals. My favorite thing to eat was like, a granola cereal its really good/sweet and it filled me up. And its my favorite cereal to this day.
    It took a few months but Now im at a much much healthier weight, I’m very well toned and Im getting ready to start kickboxing to keep my body. =)
