Lose Belly Fat: Walking or Pilates?
I workout 5 days a week and eat healthy, but what would be more of a benefit for the stomach, pilates or walking? I feel like walking mostly helps my legs and thighs, but I really need to lose the love handles and mid section. I am thinking of alternating 2 different types of pilates instead of 1 type of pilates and walking for 30 min, any suggestions?

Resistance/strength training should be part of a healthy eating plan. Resistance training builds muscle and muscle burns more calories. It can literally turn your body into a fat burning machine and it can be done without bulking up, depends on the type of workouts you do.
A lot of people think using weights is the only form of strength training, but that’s not true. Anything that creates resistance can be used, even your own bodyweight. If you’d like to try working out with Bodylastics resistance bands, here are some free live daily workout shows. Each show is about 30-40 minutes and conducted by physical fitness experts. The video quality is excellent. (These aren’t cheesy YouTube videos.) There are shows for building muscle, toning, cardio, Pilates, eight pack abs, kickboxing, baseball and football training workouts.
some trainers will not tell you this: pilates, crunches or set ups won’t make you lose belly fat. they will strengthen your abs but you will not be able to see results until you lose the fat first. now to answer your question, follow aerobics plane or run instead of walking and with the proper diet you will lose that fat. do abs workout as well it burns calories and with time you will see a big difference also a good advise is to steam your vegetables instead of regularly cooking them specially broccoli and other fiber filled veggiess.
Best of luck.
